H.M.S. Bounty, a merchant ship fitted out as a frigate, will always be
remembered for the mutiny organized by Fletcher Christian in 1789 during a
voyage to Tahiti. Christian and the other mutineers forced Captain Bligh to
abandon the ship in an open longboat with 18 crew members who were loyal to
him and a few provisions. After a hazardous voyage of nearly 4,000 miles, they
managed to reach the island of Timor.

Cast metal anchor, ship's wheel, guns, dewatering pumps.
Natural colored cotton sails.
Generous brass and copper hardware.
